You're Gonna Live To See It Happen

Aug 30, 2026    Pastor Gary Lee

What if the hardest seasons of our lives are not the end of the story, but simply the beginning of something far greater? Romans 8:18 plants a bold stake in the ground, declaring that the sufferings of this present time are not even worth comparing to the glory that is coming. That is not wishful thinking. That is a Spirit-filled confidence rooted in the character of a God who does not lie and does not change His mind. This message walks us through the sweeping arc of Romans, from the sobering reality that none of us are righteous on our own, to the breathtaking truth that through Christ we have been justified, given peace with God, and granted access to grace. We are not just rescued. We are heirs. Joint heirs with Christ Jesus, which means everything that belongs to Him belongs to us. The suffering we endure right now is real, but it is temporary. The glory being prepared for us is eternal. Like a piece of candy that starts hard and tough but softens over time, how things begin is not how they finish. The invitation here is to stop reacting too soon, to hold on, and to trust that what God has promised, He will deliver. We are going to live to see it happen.
