It's My Turn
This powerful message centers on Deuteronomy 2:3, where God tells the Israelites they've circled the mountain long enough and it's time to move forward. We're challenged to recognize when God is calling us to break camp and embrace change, even when it's uncomfortable. The sermon explores how an entire generation of Israelites missed their promised land because they allowed fear to speak louder than God's promises. When the spies returned with reports of giants in the land, the people focused on the obstacles rather than God's faithfulness. This message confronts us with a crucial question: Are we receptive to God's promises but rebellious against His process? Change is necessary for growth, yet we often become dangerously comfortable in situations God intended to be temporary. We're reminded that sometimes God isn't just calling us to move geographically, but to move mentally and spiritually—to break free from toxic relationships, limiting mindsets, and cycles of disobedience. The call is clear: it's our turn to trust God, step out in faith, and refuse to let what we see make us forget what God has said. This generation doesn't have to repeat the mistakes of the previous one.
