See Something Say Something

May 31, 2026    Pastor Gary Lee

This powerful message centers on Acts 4:18-20, where Peter and John boldly declare that they cannot help but speak about what they have seen and heard. Drawing a compelling parallel to the post-9/11 phrase 'If you see something, say something,' we're reminded that this principle didn't originate with Homeland Security—it's been a kingdom mandate since the birth of the church. The message challenges us to recognize that when God allows us to witness His power, silence is not an option. We're called to be witnesses, not just spectators. The Holy Spirit didn't come merely to give us an experience in the sanctuary; He came with an expectation that we would carry that power into the streets. This isn't about having all the theological answers or advanced degrees—it's about sharing what we know. Like the blind man who simply testified, 'I once was blind but now I see,' our testimony doesn't require defending every accusation or answering every critic. It requires authenticity about our own transformation. The message confronts our tendency to be 'wonders in the sanctuary and blunders in the street,' challenging us to let our changed lives be the evidence that speaks louder than our words. When we've truly encountered the living God, our very existence becomes the proof that He still saves, heals, delivers, and restores.
