Are You In?

Apr 6, 2025    Supt. James L. Lee

Are we truly 'in' Christ? This powerful message challenges us to examine our spiritual position and commitment. Drawing from John 15:1-6, we're reminded that Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches. The key to a fruitful Christian life lies in abiding in Him. This isn't just about occasional church attendance, but a daily, moment-by-moment connection with our Savior. The parallels between our inherited sin through Adam and our salvation through Christ are striking - we were 'in' Adam when he sinned, and now we must choose to be 'in' Christ for redemption. This decision isn't a one-time event, but an ongoing process of remaining in God's divine protection despite the enemy's attempts to pull us away. As we reflect on this, let's consider: Are we truly abiding in Christ? Are we allowing His words to dwell in us richly? Our eternal destiny hangs on this crucial choice - will we be 'in' Christ or remain in sin?
