Heaven Belongs To Me

What if the very things we are struggling through right now are not signs of God's absence, but evidence of His refining work in our lives? This message takes us deep into 2 Corinthians 4 and 5, where the apostle Paul makes a bold declaration from a place of real suffering: we faint not. Paul was not speaking from comfort or ease. He had been beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked, and rejected. And yet, from that place, he insists that what we are enduring is a light affliction. The key to understanding how he could say that lies in perspective. When we weigh our trials against the eternal weight of glory that God has promised, the math changes entirely. This message calls us to resist the temptation to quit when the assignment gets harder than we expected, to recognize that the treasure of God's power dwelling inside us is what carries the vessel through, and to rest in promises that God has already spoken over our lives. God cannot lie. That means every promise He has made must come to pass. We are invited to stop waiting for the battle to be over before we begin to praise, and instead to let our faith speak louder than our circumstances.
